A time for firsts...

So last night....or rather very early this morning I attended my first midnight showing. New Moon. WOW. After 7 hours of chatty and screaming girls and their 40 year old mothers, I was able to enjoy this new movie. I must admit that I liked it much better than the Twilight movie. The acting was by far better...still room for much improvement, but not as painful to watch!! And, I must also admit that it was kinda fun sitting outside for 4 hours freezing my butt off while waiting for them to let us in so we could wait another 3 hours for the movie to start.

It was entertaining to watch these teenage girls interact with each other. It makes me laugh to think that I was once like that. The odd thing about the evening is that I was not annoyed at all by the high pitched voices and screams. I was actually very amused! I usually have no patience.....you see, I hate teenagers (most of them) and find that their conversations are rather trivial and pointless. I know I was one of them not that long ago, and I'm sorry to anyone who had to listen to my ridiculous life drama at the time!!! LOL!! The time went slow at first, but actually picked up once we got inside and were warm. It was fun hanging with my dear friend Heidi and her bro and friend, Gabe.

Overall, good night. I am super tired today, so work is gonna be joyful!! Can't say that I'd do this again, but who knows. At least I can check this off my list!!!

Where does the time go??

Can you believe it's November already??? Where does the time go?? It feels like just yesterday that we were entering the year 2009, and now we are nearing the year 2010. WOW!! Life is so busy right now that I feel my life is going in fast forward and I can't find the pause button. EEEK!! Anyway, I do love this time of year...everything about it!! The smells, the weather (although I wish it was colder), the sights, and yes...the music. I am one of these that turns the Christmas on during the Thanksgiving week. Things I'm looking forward to:

1.) Christmas music

2.) Yummy food

3.) Spending time with family

4.) School being done....for good....graduation here I come!!!

5.) Making Christmas cookies

6.) Looking at Christmas lights

Now all I need to do is focus on enjoying the season. This will be challenging given my current situation.

In other news the Scentsy Warmer of the Month follows. It is super cute. There is also an entire Christmas collection that can be seen on scentsy.com or on my website at wendyreves.scentsy.us
